So the one thing we actually liked about the Kapoor Jr. turns out to be not so original, after all.

The stylist behind this one probably thought that they could copy this Dior outfit from French actress Marion Cotillard with none being the wiser. The Internet, however, begged to differ.
It’s hard to go wrong with Christian Dior. Yet harder to go wrong with Jennifer Lawrence in Christian Dior, and apparently Sonam thinks the same, because she aped the style shortly after the former wore it a red carpet event at Cannes.
Say hello to Kelly Brooks, decked in a Dolce & Gabbana Sunflower and Onion floral dress. And then say hello to Sonam Kapoor who happened to pick the same one. Coincidence? We think not.
While we were all impressed when JLo rocked the Met Gala in this Gucci creation, none was as impressed as Sonam who promptly had a similar, albeit more conservative, one styled.
We always thought that Sonam Kapoor’s fashion choices were a result of her blessed tastes in matters of couture, but her fashion mantra apparently involves just rifling through Kelly Brooks’ style files.
Sure, we all have a weakness for Versace, but Sonam’s tendency of turning up in identical copies of JLo’s outfits strikes us as a little too coincidental for comfort.
Given how well she nailed the look, we may be willing to let this one slide; but we wonder if Amy Adams would be as forgiving if she found that the look that she sported at a movie premiere during the NY Film Festival was replicated by the Bollywood star.
